Roles & Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence
- Ensure uninterrupted 24/7 transport operations with full backup readiness across all client locations.
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all transport-related matters at client sites.
- Manage and review Daily Service Reports (DSR) and ensure PAN India data accuracy.
- Monitor vehicle availability, arrival/departure tracking, and driver attendance.
- Oversee EV operations and ensure vintage fleet compliance as per SLA standards.
Financial & Compliance Oversight
- Prepare and track monthly transport spends, accruals, and budget utilization.
- Monitor and reconcile daily ODC (billing for incomplete trips).
- Align budgeted vs. actual spends in coordination with the Finance team.
- Validate vendor invoices and ensure timely processing of payments in collaboration with cluster leads.
- Ensure 100% compliance with statutory/legal requirements and internal audit protocols.
Team & Vendor Management
- Lead daily coordination with location transport teams and conduct weekly meetings with drivers and supervisors.
- Facilitate monthly vendor review meetings with managers/proprietors.
- Provide training, conduct one-on-one reviews, and ensure team performance alignment.
- Organize bi-annual driver training programs through certified external trainers.
Reporting & Client Communication
- Generate and share daily compliance reports with stakeholders.
- Prepare and present monthly compliance and performance reports.
- Participate in Monthly Transport Committee meetings and provide SIM/IFM/MMR updates.
- Handle transport-related escalations and ensure timely resolution.
Quality, Safety & Incident Management
- Support audits with required documentation and compliance records.
- Monitor transport incidents, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using tools like Fishbone Analysis, and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Ensure incidents are reported to EHS and follow-up actions are documented.
- Take proactive actions based on employee survey feedback regarding transport services.
Strategic Initiatives & Stakeholder Engagement
- Contribute to QBR updates and transport benchmarking initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Client SPOCs, and audit teams for contract review and vendor performance evaluation.
- Monitor Transport PO, KMS validation, and productivity metrics across locations.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and transport optimization projects.
Preferred candidate profile :
- Should have min 8 - 10 years of experience in a highly visible customer relations role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean processes (preferred).
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and their application in operational environments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office tools.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Previous customer relations experience is essential.
Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year
