Key Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate CNC turning machines (e.g., Mazak, Mori Seiki, Okuma).
- Interpret technical drawings, engineering blueprints, and CAD/CAM data.
- Select, install, and align cutting tools, fixtures, and materials.
- Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments for accuracy and efficiency.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Maintain accurate production and quality reports.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Collaborate with engineers and quality inspectors to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Train junior operators or apprentices where required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Apprentice-trained machinist or equivalent technical certification.
- 2–5 years’ experience operating CNC turning machines.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of CNC programming languages (Fanuc, Mazatrol, or similar).
- Proficiency with measuring and inspection tools.
- Experience working with tight tolerances (±0.025 mm typical).
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
