Job Purpose
The HSE Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the company's Health, Safety & Environmental Management System across manufacturing, testing, offshore/onshore ROV operations, and customer sites, ensuring statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures and HSEMS.
- Prepare project HSE Plans and method statement reviews.
- Conduct HSE inspections, audits, toolbox talks and training.
- Monitor safe ROV launch/recovery, lifting, electrical, battery and marine operations.
- Ensure PTW implementation and PPE compliance.
- Investigate incidents and implement CAPA.
- Maintain emergency preparedness and conduct drills.
- Manage environmental compliance and waste disposal.
- Coordinate client HSE meetings and audits.
- Conduct mock drills related to fire and safety across the company.
- Maintain HSE documentation and monthly reports.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 6 years of experience (with major work experience in electrical/EV/Battery and Electronic Manufacturing related companies).
- Diploma/PG Diploma in Industrial Safety (preferred).
- NEBOSH IGC/IOSH preferred.
- IOSH Managing Safely
- First Aid & CPR
- Fire Fighting Training
- Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) – desirable for offshore deployments
