SKI Hotels & Resorts is looking for a high-performing Senior Front Desk Executive who specializes in guest experience and online reputation management. Unlike a standard front desk role, this position focuses on driving positive OTA reviews, managing online distribution, and maximizing revenue through skillful walk-in negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
- Online Reputation Management (OTA Reviews):
- Proactively engage with guests during their stay to ensure satisfaction.
- Implement strategies to extract high-quality reviews on platforms like TripAdvisor, Booking.com, and Goibibo-MMT before the guest checks out.
- Monitor and respond to online feedback to maintain a top-tier hotel ranking.
- Revenue & Channel Management:
- Manage OTA rates and inventory via the Channel Manager.
- Coordinate with OTA market managers to optimize property visibility and performance.
- Monitor competitor pricing and suggest rate adjustments to maximize occupancy.
- Sales & Walk-in Negotiation:
- Act as a lead negotiator for walk-in guests, converting inquiries into bookings at the highest possible yield.
- Upsell room categories and hotel services (F&B, Spa, Tours) to increase the average daily rate (ADR).
- Guest Satisfaction Oversight:
- Act as the primary point of contact for high-value guests, ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to check-out.
- Resolve complex guest issues on the spot to prevent negative feedback.
- Group Coordination:
Act as the single point of contact for travel agent group bookings, managing rooming lists, meal plans, and special arrival requirements (like traditional welcomes or luggage handling).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2–4 years of solid Front Office experience in a busy hotel environment.
- Skill Set: Proven track record in converting walk-ins and handling OTA extranets (Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, etc.).
- Tools: Proficient in using Channel Managers (like Asiatech or similar).
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation and "soft skills" in both English and Hindi; ability to persuade guests to leave positive reviews.
- Mindset: Result-oriented with a strong focus on revenue and the hotel's online image.
