About the Role
Sky Gold & Diamond Ltd. is seeking an experienced Gold Recovery Incharge with strong expertise in precious metal recovery and refining processes. The ideal candidate must have deep hands-on knowledge of gold refining systems, chemical processes, and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1.Gold Recovery & Refining
1. Oversee the complete gold recovery process from filing dust, scrubber dust, workshop waste, polishing waste, and floor sweep.
2. Conduct refining operations accurately using standard chemical and furnace-based techniques.
3. Ensure maximum recovery yield with minimal loss.
4. Monitor tools, machinery, and refining area hygiene.
2.Quality Control & Documentation
· Maintain proper logs of recovered gold, wastage, batch processing, chemical usage, and final purity reports.
· Prepare daily MIS reports and submit to management.
· Ensure zero discrepancy in metal accounting.
3.Compliance & Safety
· Follow all SOPs and safe chemical handling procedures.
· Maintain compliance with internal and government norms for precious metal processing.
· Train staff on safe handling and process accuracy.
4.Coordination & Audit
· Coordinate with Production, QA, and Accounts for reconciliation of gold movement.
· Support internal and external audits.
· Conduct periodic checks to identify gaps in recovery or wastage.
Required Skills & Competencies
· Strong knowledge of gold refining processes (mandatory).
· Experience in aqua regia or similar refining techniques.
· Excellent understanding of jewellery manufacturing waste sources.
· Strong record-keeping and analytical skills.
· High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
