We are seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Engineer proficient in Siemens NX and Mastercam to support CNC machining operations. The candidate will be responsible for creating 3D models, generating toolpaths, optimizing machining processes, and ensuring high-quality production output.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using NX.
- Generate CNC programs (3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis) using NX CAM and Mastercam.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining strategies.
- Perform simulation and verification of toolpaths to avoid collisions.
- Optimize cycle times and improve machining efficiency.
- Interpret technical drawings and convert them into machining programs.
- Support shop-floor machining and troubleshoot CNC program issues.
- Work closely with production, quality, and design teams.
- Maintain proper documentation of programs, setups, and tooling.
