Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Academic Counselor to guide students in choosing the right IT training programs and career paths. The candidate will be responsible for counseling prospective students, handling admissions, maintaining follow-ups, and achieving enrollment targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and job seekers regarding courses, career opportunities, and training programs.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp inquiries, and walk-in candidates.
- Follow up with leads generated through marketing campaigns, social media, and website inquiries.
- Convert telecalling inquiries into admissions and achieve monthly enrollment targets.
- Explain course features, fees, scholarship offers, and placement assistance programs.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions in CRM or spreadsheets.
- Coordinate with trainers and management regarding batch schedules and student requirements.
- Conduct career guidance sessions and educational presentations when required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counseling and convincing abilities.
- Basic knowledge of IT courses, training programs, and career opportunities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, and email communication.
- Ability to work with admission targets and deadlines.
- Good follow-up and customer relationship management skills.
Eligibility
- Any Degree/Diploma.
- 6 Months to 2 Years of experience in Academic Counseling, Education Sales, Student Counseling, Admission Counseling, or Telecalling.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in IT Training Institutes, Educational Institutions, or EdTech companies.
- Knowledge of Linux, Cloud, AWS, DevOps, Cyber Security, or related IT courses is an added advantage.
