Position: Consultant – General Medicine (Physician)
Job Summary:
The Consultant – General Medicine is responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. The physician provides both outpatient and inpatient care, coordinates multidisciplinary management when required, and ensures high standards of clinical practice, documentation, and patient communication.
Role & responsibilities:
- Provide medical consultation for general, acute, and chronic illnesses.
- Manage OPD and IPD patients, including those with diabetes, hypertension, infections, and multisystem diseases.
- Attend to medical emergencies, stabilize patients, and escalate or refer when needed.
- Coordinate patient management with specialists (e.g., cardiology, nephrology, pulmonology).
- Support the ICU and emergency care team as needed with internal medicine input.
- Participate in health camps, preventive health checkups, and awareness drives
- Maintain clear, timely, and complete patient records in EMR/HIS systems.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and medico-legal protocols.
- Contribute to patient discharge summaries, case presentations, and mortality audits.
- Supervise junior doctors, physician assistants, and interns during rounds and procedures.
- Conduct clinical case discussions and CME programs periodically.
- Participate in infection control, clinical audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
Preferred candidate profile-
- MBBS + MD / DNB in General Medicine – Mandatory
- Fellowship in Diabetology / Infectious Disease / Critical Care – (Optional, for specialization)

Location
Salary:₹1 Lakhs - ₹1.2 Lakhs Per Month (Negotiable as per the candidate requirement)
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
