Job Title: Production and Process Engineer
Location: Bangalore

Reports To: Production Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Production Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team. He will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves continuous improvement of production processes, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with various departments to optimize production performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Control:

Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and company goals.

Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to ensure timely delivery of products.
Process Improvement:

Analyze production processes with SPC tool and identify areas for improvement.

Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
Quality Assurance:

Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.

Work closely with the quality control team to address any quality issues.

Develop and implement quality control procedures.
Equipment and Maintenance:

Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment.

Ensure equipment is operating at optimal performance levels.

Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive maintenance schedules.
Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Promote a safe working environment and conduct safety training for production staff.

Maintain documentation for compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with the design, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth production flow.

Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding production status and issues.

Provide technical support and guidance to production staff.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, E &C , Chemical, Electrical, automation and Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Above 5 years work experience

Proven experience as a Production/ Process Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality control standards.

Proficiency in Microsoft office, Minitab and other engineering tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
-
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and ISO 13485 is a Plus
