Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications with high-volume and low-latency requirements.
- Develop Java web services in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with QA, DevOps, and PMs.
- Create Spring Boot-based microservices templates for product engineering teams.
- Develop, document, and deploy microservices solutions on cloud infrastructures.
- Establish and implement design patterns and best practices for microservices.
- Lead automation implementation using Selenium for Java applications.
- Manage staff disciplines in Application Development, .NET, Java, Middleware Technologies, and Hybris technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in software development with a focus on Java backend technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring framework, and Microservices development.
- Experience with designing and developing web applications using Java/JEE.
- Familiarity with backend APIs development using Java-based technologies.
- Excellent understanding of Java-based applications and customized flows/frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in Java automation testing with tools like Selenium.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, .NET, or JavaScript is a plus.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Core Java/J2EE, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Understanding of Java architectural frameworks like Spring Boot and database concepts.
- Exposure to frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and related web technologies.
- Prior experience with Java application support and maintenance.
