Curriculum & Pedagogical Leadership: Oversee the planning and daily execution of the Early Years curriculum, ensuring a strong focus on inquiry, play-based learning, and developmental milestones.
Teacher Mentorship & Coaching: Lead regular collaborative planning sessions, conduct classroom walkthroughs, and provide constructive pedagogical feedback to pre-primary teachers and learning assistants.
Student Tracking & Development: Monitor student progress portfolios, track foundational cognitive/social-emotional milestones, and collaborate with the learning support team for early interventions.
Parent Engagement: Organize parent orientations, workshops, and student showcases to keep families actively involved in their child’s educational journey.
Operational Management: Design balanced daily timetables, manage early years resource procurement, and ensure the department is fully prepared for internal or external regulatory audits
