Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead - Automation to join our team at Acads360. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of relevant experience in automation testing, with at least 3 years of experience in team handling. Exposure to a SaaS-based environment is mandatory, and relevant certifications will be considered a plus. The QA Lead - Automation will be responsible for leading the QA automation team, ensuring the quality of our software products, and implementing best practices in automation testing.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the QA automation team, providing guidance and support to team members.

Design, develop, and execute automation test strategies and plans to ensure product quality

Develop and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software

Monitor and report on test automation progress, results, and metrics

Identify, analyze, and document defects and work with the development team to resolve them

Continuously improve the automation processes, tools, and methodologies.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in automation testing

Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation testing and incorporate them into the team's practices
Key Skills

Strong proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium)

Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Excellent knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#

Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies

Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)

Qualifications
