Supply Chain Manager- Manufacturing industry
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Procurement: Source raw materials (bar stock, plates, forgings) and specialized components at competitive prices. Negotiate supplier contracts and long-term rate agreements.
- Vendor Development: Identify and onboard reliable suppliers, and continuously evaluate their performance on quality, delivery time, and cost. Conduct vendor audits and build dual-source strategies to mitigate supply risks.
- Demand & Inventory Planning: Collaborate with production and sales teams to forecast demand and schedule materials. Optimize inventory levels to avoid stock-outs while reducing carrying costs.
- Logistics & Warehousing: Manage inbound freight, warehousing operations, and outbound distribution. Ensure compliance with export/import regulations.
- Process Optimization: Identify supply chain bottlenecks and implement process improvements (e.g., Lean manufacturing, Zero-Based Costing). Utilize ERP/MRP systems (like SAP or Oracle) for accurate tracking.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
