Roles & responsibilities
1. Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting data from Unifier, ServiceNow, GRC, and other enterprise source systems, with scope expanding progressively as each module goes live.
2. Operate fully within QIC's GCP-based Unified Data Platform, ensuring all pipeline design and deployment conforms to the established UDP architecture, data standards, and governance policies.
3. Collaborate with QIC's Data Architecture team to align source-to-target mappings, schema design, and data refresh SLAs with the broader platform roadmap.
4. Support by migrating legacy data structures into the UDP, maintaining data integrity throughout the transition.
5. Work in close coordination to understand consumption-layer requirements across workstreams and translate them into data model and pipeline specifications.
6. Implement pipeline observability: logging, alerting, and failure recovery to ensure dashboard data freshness and SLA adherence.
7. Produce and maintain documentation covering data lineage, source system field mappings, and pipeline architecture to support QIC's data governance and audit requirements.
