This on-field role involves regular market visits to track competitors, negotiate deals, meet sales targets, and ensure payment collection.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition & Retention: Identify new distributors, wholesalers, and retailers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat sales.Market Visits:
Conduct consistent, daily on-field visits to FMCG outlets, rice traders, and wholesalers.Sales Targets: Achieve monthly primary and secondary sales targets.Market Intelligence:
Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer preferences.Product Visibility: Execute merchandising, promotional activities, and product demonstrations (e.g., highlighting Basmati varieties) to increase brand presence.Payments & Logistics: Ensure timely collection of payments and coordinate with logistics for on-time delivery.Reporting: Submit regular daily/weekly/monthly sales reports to management regarding market feedback.
