Job Summary
As a Telecalling Executive, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students who have expressed interest in studying abroad.
Your primary responsibility will be to connect with prospective students, understand their educational goals, provide basic information about our services, generate interest, qualify leads, and schedule counselling appointments with our Study Abroad Counsellors.
This role requires candidates who enjoy talking to people, can confidently initiate conversations with strangers, and are comfortable working in a high-volume outbound calling environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Make 180–200 outbound calls every day to prospective students.
- Connect with new enquiries and follow up with existing leads.
- Build rapport and establish meaningful conversations over the phone.
- Understand students' study abroad aspirations and eligibility.
- Explain our overseas education services and create interest.
- Schedule counselling appointments for qualified students.
- Maintain regular follow-ups until the lead is converted or closed.
- Update all call activities accurately in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with the counselling team for smooth lead handover.
- Achieve daily calling and performance targets.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.
Eligibility Criteria: Education
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
Experience
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in:
- Telecalling
- Telesales
- Lead Generation
- Customer Support (Voice Process)
- Telemarketing
- Inside Sales
- Candidates with prior experience in a BPO, Call Centre, or International/Domestic Voice Process will be given preference.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding telephone etiquette.
- Ability to confidently initiate and sustain conversations with strangers.
- Strong persuasion and convincing skills.
- Active listening and objection-handling abilities.
- Comfortable making 180–200 outbound calls daily.
- Positive attitude with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work under targets and performance metrics.
- Good computer skills with the ability to work on CRM software.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
