We are looking for a qualified and experienced QA/QC Engineer for civil construction works. The candidate shall be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are executed as per approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. The engineer shall supervise quality control activities at site including inspection of reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, brickwork, plastering, finishing works, waterproofing, and other civil activities. The candidate must be capable of conducting and maintaining records of material inspections, cube tests, slump tests, field quality checks, and other QA/QC documentation. Coordination with client representatives, consultants, site engineers, and subcontractors for inspection and approval of works shall also form part of the responsibilities. The candidate should have sound knowledge of IS codes, construction procedures, and quality assurance systems applicable to building and infrastructure projects.
The applicant must possess a Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects. Experience in railway, infrastructure, commercial, or government projects shall be preferred. The candidate should have good knowledge of site execution, quality documentation, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and preparation of inspection reports and checklists. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle site quality issues independently are essential for the role.
