Role Overview

Lead the security of cloud-native environments across GCP, AWS, and Azure by embedding security into development workflows and automating preventive and detective controls. You will enable fast, secure releases, proactive threat detection, and ongoing regulatory compliance, partnering with Engineering, DevOps, and Security to foster a strong DevSecOps culture.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and enforce cloud security controls across GCP, AWS, and Azure, including IAM, network segmentation, and threat prevention.
Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines using Ansible, Azure DevOps, and other automation tools to enable secure deployments.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, remediation planning, and security hardening of cloud infrastructure and workloads.
Deploy and manage IDS/IPS solutions and SIEM to detect, monitor, and respond to security threats.
Lead incident response activities, coordinate with the SOC, and ensure timely containment and recovery.
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and other applicable frameworks; perform gap analyses and maintain audit readiness.
Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams to promote DevSecOps practices and continuous improvement.
Manage IAM and access control, enforce least privilege, and maintain security documentation and runbooks.

Qualifications

Required

BTech or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering
5-7 years of DevSecOps/Cloud Security/Infrastructure Security experience
Strong hands-on experience securing GCP, AWS, and Azure
Proficiency with Ansible, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability management
Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS)

Preferred

Cloud security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, GCP Security Engineer, CISSP, CEH, or CKA)
Experience with IaC security tools (tfsec, Checkov) and Terraform
Container security experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with cloud-native security services (GCP Security Command Center, AWS GuardDuty, Azure Security Center)
