As a Senior Member Technical Staff - Hybrid Engineer in Salesforce DET, you will be part of a software engineering team that delivers customer success functionality built on a Salesforce Service Cloud implementation. You will work with the team of software engineers, product managers, and architects responsible for feature development and application maintenance responsive to the needs of a highly sophisticated and global customer success organization.
You will help to ensure every line of code we push to production is of the highest quality. This includes taking part in the plan, design, build and enhance the salesforce applications and test automation suites. You should deliver solutions others can understand, support, maintain and expand, and provide other team members with direction on development projects. You are aware of trends and technical developments in the industry, and how those can be applied in your work; and have a point of view on the delivery approach for very complex or foundational features.
This role requires that you be a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must possess good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable code. You will also be asked to contribute ideas and provide feedback on many projects within the team’s portfolio.
Work with an established Agile SCRUM team to ensure every line of code we push to production is of the highest quality.
Excellent understanding of salesforce.com, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Force.com product offerings
Actively support our ADM agile framework – including establishing scrum team roles, tools, and practices.
Establish a solid relationship with other team members to understand our business partners' vision, requirements, and priorities.
Plan, designed, and enhanced build and test automation frameworks, utilities, and tools
Build black-and-white box test automation that is effective, fast, robust, and maintainable using tools such as SOAP_UI, ApexUnit, Junit, and Selenium Web Driver.
Good Knowledge in object-oriented design, knowledge of design patterns/ trigger/ integration frameworks
Work with engineers, business analysts and product owners for product delivery
Should deliver fully functional business logic with all the best practices incorporated
Ensure the existing functionalities are intact and have no impact on them due to the new implementation.
