About the Role
The Content Lab Trainee is an entry-level, full-time role at Gestalt Trainings — a behavioural L&D consulting firm based in Kolkata. We work with organisations like Tata, Aditya Birla, Veedol, and Emami. This is not an internship. It is a structured 12-month learning journey for fresh graduates who want to build a serious career in Learning & Development — right now, not after years of waiting.
What You'll Do
- Research behavioural concepts, industry trends, and client contexts to inform programme design
- Write and design training content — facilitator guides, participant workbooks, slide decks, activity sheets
- Contribute to proposal writing and programme structuring under senior consultants
- Support delivery prep — materials, logistics briefs, pre-training diagnostics
- Iterate on content based on facilitator and client feedback
- Build a growing portfolio of L&D work across manufacturing, BFSI, and FMCG sectors
The 12-Month Structure
Months 1–6: Learn the craft. Embedded in live projects, close mentorship, steep learning curve.
Months 7–11: Own it. Primary responsibility on content workstreams, direct stakeholder engagement.
Month 12: You decide where this takes you.
Who We're Looking For
- Fresh graduate, any discipline — Psychology background is a definite advantage
- Genuinely curious about why people behave the way they do at work
- Strong written English — clear, concise, no fluff
- Creative enough to make complex ideas accessible
- High ownership — you don't wait to be told twice
- Comfortable with real deadlines and real stakes in a small, fast-paced team
- Based in Kolkata or willing to relocate
What This Is Not
No cabin. No designation. No title. Full-time, Monday to Friday. If you want a comfortable first job, this isn't it. If you want the fastest possible entry into real L&D work — this is exactly it.
Remuneration
A trainee stipend — not a salary. The real currency is the exposure, the experience, and the portfolio you'll walk away with.
