Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Interior Supervisor to oversee the execution of commercial interior projects at site. The candidate will be responsible for supervising contractors and workers, coordinating with the design and project teams, monitoring quality and progress, and ensuring that work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day interior fit-out and finishing works at the project site.
- Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, electricians, painters, false-ceiling teams, flooring teams, and other site workers.
- Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and quality standards.
- Read and interpret architectural, interior, furniture, ceiling, flooring, and MEP drawings.
- Monitor daily site progress and ensure work is completed according to the project schedule.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction or execution issues.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Interior Designer, Architect, MEP consultants, vendors, and contractors.
- Take site measurements and verify dimensions before fabrication or installation.
- Ensure proper installation of modular furniture, partitions, false ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, doors, hardware, lighting, and other interior elements.
- Check the quality of materials and workmanship before and during installation.
- Identify defects, prepare snag lists, and ensure timely rectification.
- Monitor manpower and allocate work to contractors and workers according to site requirements.
- Coordinate material deliveries, storage, and movement at site to avoid delays.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, measurements, and work updates.
- Ensure proper coordination between civil, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and interior works.
- Follow site safety procedures and ensure workers and contractors comply with safety requirements.
- Assist in quantity verification and contractor measurements as required.
- Resolve on-site execution issues in coordination with the project and design teams.
- Ensure the site is maintained in a clean, organized, and professional manner.
- Support final inspection, snagging, handover, and project close-out activities.
Required Skills
- 5–6 years of relevant experience in interior execution/site supervision, preferably in commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of commercial interior fit-out and finishing works.
- Good understanding of carpentry, gypsum/false ceiling, flooring, painting, partitions, furniture installation, and finishing works.
- Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings and detailed working drawings.
- Good knowledge of construction materials, finishes, hardware, and installation methods.
- Strong contractor and manpower management skills.
- Good site coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to monitor multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness.
- Knowledge of basic measurements, quantities, and BOQ is preferred.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
