Purpose of the Job
To ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment by carrying out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, minimizing downtime, and maintaining product quality.
Roles &Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) as per the maintenance schedule.
- Attend machine breakdowns and restore equipment within the target time.
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical faults.
- Maintain injection moulding machines, robots, chillers, compressors, mould temperature controllers, and other auxiliary equipment.
- Inspect machines regularly and report abnormal conditions.
- Replace worn or damaged machine components.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, and relocation activities.
- Ensure machine parameters are maintained after maintenance work.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and machine history cards.
- Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, and Quality departments during maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper lubrication of machines and equipment.
- Assist in implementing Kaizen, TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement activities.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance work.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company requirements.
- Maintain housekeeping in the maintenance area.
- Support internal and external audits related to maintenance activities.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
