Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Java Developer – Spring Boot to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot. The candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and experience working in enterprise-level applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
- Build scalable and secure microservices-based applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Perform code reviews and participate in technical discussions.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Work with databases and ensure efficient data management.
- Maintain proper documentation of applications and development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Experience with Hibernate/JPA and ORM frameworks.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and Microservices Architecture.
- Experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or other relational databases.
- Knowledge of Git and version control practices.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and Design Patterns.
- Experience in writing unit and integration tests.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of Maven or Gradle build tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
