Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our structural design consultancy team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in the analysis and design of RCC and steel structures and should be capable of independently managing projects from concept to completion. The candidate will lead a team of engineers, coordinate with clients and site teams, and ensure timely delivery of quality design solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Independently handle structural design projects from concept to completion.
- Perform structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures in compliance with applicable IS Codes.
- Prepare and review structural drawings and coordinate them effectively with site execution teams.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior structural engineers, ensuring timely completion of project deliverables.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, clients, and contractors for smooth project execution.
- Attend technical meetings, resolve site-related structural issues, and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of all design documents and project submissions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience in wind analysis, seismic analysis, foundation design, and high-rise building design.
- Ability to review and interpret structural drawings and reinforcement detailing.
Required Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, Microsoft Excel (Design Sheets), and Microsoft Word.
- Strong understanding of RCC and steel structural design.
- Thorough knowledge of Indian Standard (IS) Codes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering.
- Master's Degree (M.E./M.Tech.) in Structural Engineering will be preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a Civil/Structural Design Consultancy.
- Proven experience in designing residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, and high-rise building projects.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects, coordinate with clients and site teams, and lead engineering teams.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
