We are looking for Supplier support Engineer Brakes (focus Bogie Brake components)

The supplier support engineer forms the technical interface to the suppliers and supports and guides them through regular coordination meetings with development teams of suppliers during product development.

Development of bogie Brake components and systems to ensure compliance with the defined requirements within the scope of responsibility considering the Indian procurement market.

Compliance with legal, internal, and project-specific requirements (technical offer, requirement documents, etc.).
-
Responsibility for schedule, cost, and quality, including reporting, for all EN projects within his/her area of responsibility.

Clarification and support of suppliers of bogie brake components regarding drawings, calculations, technical specifications, descriptions and materials.

Review of supplier documents such as drawings, calculations and maintenance descriptions.
-
Technical support for the quality engineer in carrying out quality milestones at the supplier side such as first article inspection, design freeze review, etc.
Desired Skills:

Several years of industry experience required (5–8 years)
-
Solid knowledge of the theoretical foundations in a technical field. Master's degree in mechanical engineering or similar.

A confident handling and understanding of information in technical drawings is required.

Experience and knowledge of a 3D CAD program, ideally PTC Creo.

Knowledge and experience in SAP.
-
Basic business understanding.

Customer awareness and business understanding.

Contributes to team effort, awareness of expected value add.
