Position Overview
EAPRO Global Ltd. is looking for a highly analytical, process-oriented, and experienced professional for the position of Manager - Inventory within the Finance & Accounts Department. The incumbent will be responsible for managing and controlling inventory accounting operations, stock reconciliation, inventory audits, material tracking, MIS reporting, and compliance with internal inventory control systems.
The role requires close coordination with Stores, Purchase, Production, SCM, Accounts, and Audit teams to ensure inventory accuracy, proper documentation, cost control, and process compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Control & Reconciliation
Monitor and control inventory records for Raw Materials (RM), Work-in-Progress (WIP), and Finished Goods (FG).
Ensure accurate stock reconciliation between physical inventory and ERP/system records. Analyze inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
Monitor inventory valuation and stock movement reports.
GRN/MRN & Documentation Management
Review and monitor GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and MRN (Material Rejection Note) processes.
Ensure material receipts are accurately recorded against Purchase Orders and invoices. Verify inventory-related documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Maintain proper inventory records and audit-ready documentation.
Invoice Verification & Purchase Reconciliation
Verify supplier invoices with PO, GRN, and inventory records.
Prepare Purchase vs GRN reconciliation reports and identify discrepancies.
Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Purchase, and Stores teams for issue resolution.
Ensure timely processing and closure of inventory-related transactions. J
Inventory Audit & Compliance
Conduct periodic inventory audits, cycle counts, and stock verification activities.
Ensure implementation and adherence to Inventory SOPs and internal financial controls. Support internal and external audits related to inventory accounting and controls.
Identify process gaps and recommend operational improvements.
MIS Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and review inventory MIS and analytical reports including:
Weekly FG Reports
Weekly WIP Reports
Weekly RM Reports
Open PO Reports
Monthly Comparison & Reconciliation Sheets
Inventory Ageing & Variance Reports
Present inventory analysis and reports to management for decision-making.
Challan & Job Work Monitoring
Supervise and verify Job Work inventory records and material movement.
Monitor RGP, NRGP, and Delivery Challan documentation.
Ensure proper reconciliation of outward and inward material movements related to job work activities.
Process Improvement & Team Coordination
Develop and strengthen inventory control procedures and reporting systems.
Coordinate with cross-functional departments for smooth inventory operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and audit requirements. Guide and supervise inventory/accounts support teams wherever applicable.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Inventory Accounting & Control
Expertise in Stock Reconciliation and Inventory Audits
Understanding of GRN, MRN, RGP, NRGP, and Challan processes
Proficiency in ERP/BMS systems and Advanced MS Excel
Strong analytical and MIS reporting skills
Sound understanding of financial controls and inventory compliance
Excellent coordination and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Educational Qualification
MBA/PGDM / Graduate in Finance, Accounts, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related discipline Additional certifications in Inventory Management or ERP systems will be an added advantage
Experience
5-10 years of relevant experience in Inventory Management, Inventory Accounting, or Finance & Accounts within a manufacturing industry
Experience in Electrical, Solar, Inverter, Transformer, or Engineering manufacturing industry preferred Experience in handling audits and inventory reconciliation is mandatory
