The role involves delivering engaging lessons, preparing students for board examinations, improving communication and writing skills, and contributing to students' overall academic and personal development. Key Responsibilities Teach English Language and Literature to senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII). Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum. Develop students' grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills. Prepare students for board examinations through regular assessments, mock tests, and revision sessions. Evaluate assignments, projects, answer sheets, and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and academic progress reports. Conduct remedial and enrichment classes based on student performance. Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment. Integrate digital teaching tools and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction. Organize debates, literary clubs, essay competitions, public speaking events, and other co-curricular activities. Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic performance and development. Participate in staff meetings, workshops, school functions, and professional development programs. Required Qualifications Master's Degree (M.A.) in English. B.Ed. from a recognized university.
