A Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring workplace health and safety programs to ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies. The role focuses on preventing accidents, reducing risks, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement health & safety policies and procedures
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with OSHA/EHS/local safety regulations
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses
- Prepare incident reports and corrective action plans
- Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
- Monitor usage of PPE and safety equipment
- Maintain safety records, permits, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate emergency response plans and drills
- Work with management and employees to improve workplace safety
- Track safety KPIs and prepare monthly safety reports
- Identify hazardous conditions and recommend preventive measures
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
