Job Summary
Zayraa Gold and Diamonds is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial record-keeping. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle financial transactions confidentially and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate daily accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle sales, purchase, receipts, payments, and expense entries.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
- Reconcile bank statements and cash transactions regularly.
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
- Assist with monthly and annual financial reporting.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up when required.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all financial information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Previous experience as an Accountant is preferred.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with Tally/ERP and MS Excel is preferred.
- Knowledge of GST and basic taxation will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
