We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draftsman with expertise in SPM (Special Purpose Machine) Design and Industrial Automation to join our engineering team.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical drafting, machine design drawings, assembly drawings, and detailing of automation systems.
Experience Required: 2–5 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings for SPM and automation machines
- Create part drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings
- Develop and modify 2D/3D CAD models as per design requirements
- Work closely with mechanical design engineers for project execution
- Prepare BOM and manufacturing drawings
- Ensure accuracy and standards in engineering drawings
- Support design modifications and improvements during machine development
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge in AutoCAD
- Experience in SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor (preferred)
- Good understanding of mechanical components and manufacturing processes
- Experience in SPM, automation machines, or special-purpose equipment
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of GD&T will be an added advantage
Qualification:
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Preferred Experience:
- Industrial Automation Industry
- SPM Machine Design
- Machine Assembly & Fabrication Drawings
