Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop fixed network solutions with focus on Layer 2 / Layer 3 and SDN / SD-WAN architectures
- Work on service provider routing and switching using OSPF, BGP, and MPLS VPN
- Lead end-to-end SDLC activities including design, development, testing, and deployment
- Design and enhance Network Management Systems (NMS)
- Develop and integrate solutions using SNMP, Netconf, YANG, and REST APIs
- Contribute to microservices / SOA-based system design and integration
- Create and maintain HLD, LLD, UML diagrams, and process flows
- Build applications interacting with databases like Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, and Redis
- Perform code reviews and manage code merge activities
- Collaborate with architects, product, and operations teams for quality delivery
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of Layer 2 / Layer 3 networking, SDN, and SD-WAN
- Extensive experience in service provider routing and switching environments
- Deep understanding of OSPF, BGP, and MPLS VPN
- Proven experience with Network Management Systems (NMS)
- Hands-on expertise in SNMP, Netconf, YANG, and REST APIs
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java
- Experience with Microservices / SOA architecture
- Expertise in creating HLD, LLD, UML diagrams, and process flows
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Strong ownership in code reviews and merge management
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Apache Kafka
- Cisco DevNet Certification
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Telecommunications, or equivalent
