Job Summary
The ITI Electronics Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic systems across the poultry farm. The role ensures the smooth operation of automated farm equipment, minimizes downtime, and supports efficient farm operations while maintaining safety and biosecurity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment used in poultry operations.
- Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical panels, motors, sensors, relays, PLC-based control systems, feeders, drinkers, ventilation, cooling, heating, and lighting systems.
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Monitor electrical wiring, switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, and power distribution systems.
- Operate and maintain DG sets, UPS systems, batteries, and other backup power equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning of automated feeding, watering, environmental control, and climate management systems.
- Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and equipment history.
- Coordinate with production and farm teams to resolve equipment-related issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, company policies, and poultry farm biosecurity procedures.
- Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and energy conservation.
Qualifications
- ITI Certificate in Electronics Mechanic, Electronics, Electrical, or a related trade.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in maintenance of electrical or electronic equipment. Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply.
- Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motors, relays, electrical control panels, and troubleshooting techniques is preferred.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and use testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.

Working Conditions

- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
- Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly adhere to farm hygiene and biosecurity protocols.

Compensation
Salary and benefits will be offered based on qualifications, experience, and company policy.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
