Optimum Infranet LLP is the India operations office of Optimum Technologies, an Australian telecom infrastructure company delivering NBN (National Broadband Network) field services across Australia. Our Zirakpur office manages the full operational back end for Australian field crews — scheduling, client coordination, reporting, compliance, and invoicing — working live on Australian business hours.

- This is a WORK FROM OFFICE role only. NO work from home — not hybrid, not remote, no exceptions.
- Office start time is 5:00 AM SHARP to match Australian business hours. You will be leading the morning operation — punctuality is non-negotiable.
- You must live in or very near Zirakpur (Zirakpur, Dera Bassi, Panchkula, Mohali area).
- Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory — you will speak with Australian clients, project managers, and field crews every day.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, plus Saturday 4 hours (morning).
Key Responsibilities
- Run the daily operations cycle for Australian field work: morning briefings, crew job allocation, schedule distribution, and end-of-day debriefs
- Coordinate directly with Australian clients and project managers — job allocations, appointment bookings, progress updates, issue escalation
- Oversee job readiness: pre-work checklists, safety documentation, customer appointment confirmations, and access requirements before crews are dispatched
- Monitor live job progress through the day; resolve blockers (site access, missing information, equipment, customer issues) in real time
- Supervise the back-office team (MIS, HR/admin, drafting) — set daily priorities, review output quality, and ensure deadlines are met
- Own job completion and submission workflow: verify photos and documentation, submit completed jobs on client portals, close records in internal systems
- Review daily/weekly/monthly operational reports before they go to the director and client teams
- Drive process improvement — reduce turnaround time on job closures, improve data accuracy, eliminate repeat errors
- Manage escalations and represent the company professionally in all client communication
Requirements
- 5+ years of operations experience, with at least 2 years in a team-lead or manager role
- Experience working with overseas clients (Australia/UK/US) or in international BPO/back-office operations strongly preferred
- Excellent English — confident on calls and in written communication with Australian clients
- Strong people management: able to run a small team to tight daily deadlines
- Highly organised, process-driven, and calm under daily operational pressure
- Comfortable with web-based systems, Excel, and reporting tools
- Resident of Zirakpur or nearby with own reliable transport for the 5:00 AM start
- Telecom, construction, logistics, or field-services operations background is a strong plus
- Able to join immediately
What We Offer
