About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer – Vision Systems to support and develop industrial machine vision applications. The role involves vision system development, camera application, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, upgrades, and customer support.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in Machine Vision, Industrial Vision, Camera Systems, Cognex VisionPro/In-Sight, C# or VB.NET, particularly from the machine manufacturing/OEM industry.
Target Industry: Machine Vision, Industrial Automation, Special Purpose Machine (SPM) / OEM, Pharma & Packaging Machinery, Electronics & Precision Manufacturing.
Key Role Expectations
- Develop, install, commission, and support machine vision and camera-based inspection systems.
- Design and adapt specifications for camera and vision applications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop inspection concepts.
- Develop customer-specific functions using C# and VB.NET.
- Work with Cognex VisionPro and In-Sight systems.
- Handle vision system upgrades, retrofits, extensions, and reinstallations.
- Troubleshoot vision applications through remote and on-site support.
- Coordinate with customers and internal engineering teams for project execution.
- Conduct customer training and prepare technical documentation.
- Support machine upgrades and lifecycle extension projects.
- Travel to customer and supplier locations, including international travel, as required.
- Work in a 2-shift rotational model:
- General Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Late Shift: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 4–10 years of experience in Machine Manufacturing / OEM industry.
- Hands-on experience in machine vision / camera application development.
- Experience with Cognex VisionPro / In-Sight will be preferred.
- Knowledge of C# and/or VB.NET.
- Experience implementing industrial vision solutions and inspection systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer support and commissioning.
Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per month
