The Technical Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth of polymer compounds used in the wire and cable industry. The role combines technical expertise with business development skills to identify opportunities, develop customer relationships and provide technical support.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Execute sales strategies to achieve business targets for wire and cable polymer compounds.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts through regular engagement and support.
- Ensure timely payments
- Prepare quotations and techno-commercial offers.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences, and other events.
Technical Support
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable polymer compound solutions.
- Give technical presentations, product demonstrations, and application trials at customer sites.
- Coordinate with R&D and Production teams to address customer technical issues.
- Build strong relationships with production, quality, R&D, and senior management teams at customer organizations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and new technologies in the wire and cable sector.
Documentation
- Maintain CRM records, sales reports and customer visit reports.
- Provide periodic updates on sales performance, market developments, and customer activities.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Polymer Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- MBA in Marketing or Business Management is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in technical sales or business development within polymer compounds, plastics, wire & cable materials, or specialty chemicals.
- Experience in PVC, XLPE, HFFR, LSZH, PE, EVA, or related cable compounds preferred.
Required Skills
- Technical understanding of polymer compounding and wire & cable applications.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Good presentation and communication abilities.
- MS Office applications.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
