Job Summary
The HR Executive is responsible for supporting and executing day-to-day human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, attendance and leave management, payroll coordination, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance with labor laws. The role helps create a positive workplace culture while ensuring efficient HR operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Selection
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, and employee referrals.
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews.
- Coordinate interview processes with hiring managers.
- Conduct reference and background checks where required.
- Assist in preparing offer letters and appointment letters.
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Handle confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities.
- Conduct exit interviews and maintain related records.
Payroll & Attendance
- Monitor employee attendance and leave records.
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with the finance or payroll team.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of employee data related to payroll.
Employee Relations
- Address employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Support employee engagement activities and wellness initiatives.
- Assist in resolving workplace concerns while maintaining confidentiality.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
Performance Management
- Support the performance appraisal process.
- Maintain performance records and follow up on appraisal timelines.
- Assist managers in implementing performance improvement plans where needed.
HR Administration
- Prepare HR reports and maintain employee databases.
- Draft HR letters, certificates, and employment-related documents.
- Ensure HR files are accurate and up to date.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies.
- Assist in statutory documentation and HR audits.
- Support the implementation and communication of HR policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred.
- 3–4 years of experience in Human Resources or a related role.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of recruitment and interview coordination.
- Understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRMS software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
