Job Title - Ocean Freight Forwarding Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Ocean Freight Forwarding Manager to lead and manage ocean freight opera ons, ensuring efficient shipment handling, cost control, and high customer sa sfac on. The role requires strong knowledge of interna onal shipping, carrier nego a ons, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilies
Manage end-to-end ocean freight forwarding opera ons (FCL & LCL)
Coordinate with shipping lines, agents, ports, and customs brokers
Nego ate rates and contracts with carriers and vendors
Ensure mely and cost-effec ve movement of cargo
Oversee documenta on including BLs, invoices, and shipping instruc ons
Monitor shipment status and proac vely resolve opera onal issues
Ensure compliance with interna onal trade regula ons and company SOPs
Lead, train, and supervise the ocean freight opera ons team
Prepare opera onal reports, KPIs, and performance analysis
Support sales teams with pricing, rou ng, and technical exper se Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logis cs, Supply Chain, or related field
8 years plus of experience in ocean freight forwarding opera ons
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role
Strong knowledge of interna onal shipping regula ons and Incoterms
Experience handling FCL, LCL, import & export shipments
Proficiency in freight forwarding systems and MS Office
Excellent leadership, communica on, and problem-solving skills
