Generator Service Trainee assists senior technicians in the installation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of Diesel Generators. Responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, checking fluid levels, and learning to use diagnostic tools to repair electrical and mechanical issues.
Key Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance: Assist in performing routine tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and checking battery and coolant levels.
Assisting Diagnostics: Learn to use multimeters and diagnostic equipment to identify electrical or mechanical faults.
Field Support: Travel to client sites or event locations to assist with equipment setup, load-bank testing, and minor repairs.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines while working with high-voltage and heavy machinery.
Documentation: Help senior staff maintain accurate service logs, parts inventory, and maintenance reports.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: High school diploma, or an ITI/Technical/Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Physical & Travel Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and travel to remote sites.Certifications: A valid driver’s license is usually required for field travel.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
