Position: Metal Setter / Jewellery Setting Technician

Job Responsibilities
- Perform stone setting and metal setting on gold, diamond, and other jewellery pieces as per approved designs.
- Set diamonds and gemstones securely in different types of jewellery settings.
- Prepare and adjust metal surfaces and settings before stone placement.
- Ensure stones are properly aligned, secured, and positioned as per design specifications.
- Check jewellery pieces for loose stones, uneven setting, scratches, and finishing defects.
- Handle delicate jewellery carefully to prevent damage during the setting process.
- Coordinate with CAD, Wax, Production, Polishing, and QC teams as required.
- Perform corrections and rework wherever necessary.
- Maintain accuracy and quality while meeting daily production targets.
- Follow company quality standards and safety procedures.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of diamond and gemstone setting techniques.
- Experience in gold/diamond jewellery manufacturing.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on intricate and delicate jewellery designs.
- Knowledge of different stone-setting methods will be an advantage.
- Ability to identify and correct setting-related defects.
- Good teamwork and ability to work under production timelines.
Qualification
- 10th/12th pass or equivalent.
- Relevant jewellery manufacturing experience preferred.
Salary
₹20,000 – ₹23,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
