Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for the role of Dean – Management Studies, based at Karunya University, Coimbatore. The Dean will provide strategic academic leadership across the management studies domain, ensuring the highest standards in teaching, curriculum development, and research activities. Responsibilities include overseeing faculty, facilitating student development, fostering partnerships with industry and institutions, managing departmental operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and cultivating a culture of innovation and excellence in management education.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience in academic administration, strategic planning, and organizational management within a higher education environment.
- Expertise in business and management domains, with a strong academic background such as a Doctorate in Management or a related field.
- Proven track record in curriculum development, faculty recruitment, research supervision, and fostering learning and innovation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- In-depth knowledge of higher education policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation processes relevant to the field of management studies.
- Experience developing industry partnerships and leading initiatives to enhance ties between academia and industry.
- Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and a culture of collaboration and mutual respect in an academic setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹160,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per month
