Job Summary
ORIENT FAB is looking for a motivated and skilled Civil / Mechanical Designer to join our team at Pukayoor, Kunnumpuram, Malappuram.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of AutoCAD and technical drafting and be capable of preparing accurate 2D/3D drawings according to project requirements.
Responsibilities
· Prepare 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software.
· Prepare and modify engineering, fabrication, and construction drawings.
· Interpret sketches, specifications, and engineering requirements.
· Prepare layouts, detailed drawings, sections, elevations, and fabrication drawings.
· Make drawing revisions based on project requirements.
· Coordinate with engineers, production, fabrication, and site teams.
· Check drawings for dimensions, accuracy, and completeness.
· Maintain proper records of drawings and revisions.
· Assist engineers with design and technical documentation.
· Support the team in resolving design and drafting-related issues.
Qualifications
· Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
· Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
· Knowledge of SolidWorks, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar software will be an advantage.
· Ability to read and understand technical/engineering drawings.
· Good attention to detail and accuracy.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new design requirements.
Experience
0–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Freshers with good CAD and technical drawing skills are welcome to apply.
