Punjab Stainless Steel Industries is looking for an experienced Quality Control Executive to join our Stainless Steel Utensils Manufacturing team.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality throughout the manufacturing process, conducting inspections, maintaining quality records, identifying defects, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming raw materials (Stainless Steel Coils/Sheets/Circles).
- Perform in-process quality inspections during manufacturing.
- Conduct final inspection of finished stainless steel utensils before dispatch.
- Monitor product dimensions, thickness, weight, finish, polishing, and appearance.
- Identify manufacturing defects such as dents, scratches, welding defects, polishing defects, edge defects, and shape variations.
- Maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Ensure implementation of CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions).
- Monitor rejection, rework, and defect trends.
- Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and company SOPs.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Quality Control tools and inspection techniques.
- Experience in Stainless Steel Utensils Manufacturing preferred.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel & MS Word).
Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
- OR
- B.Sc. / Any Graduate with relevant Quality Control experience.
Salary
₹20,000 – ₹25000 per month
