Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join a reputed accounts and auditing firm. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting, with the ability to manage client accounts efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate books of accounts using TallyPrime.
- Prepare and finalize financial statements, including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) efficiently.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records, vouchers, and supporting documents for audit and compliance purposes.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial reports, and management reports to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, and statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
- Assist in internal and statutory audits by providing accurate financial information and documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities whenever required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com, CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounting or auditing
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software
- Experience working in an accounts or auditing firm will be an added advantage
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines
- Immediate joiners preferred
