We are looking for a proactive and result-driven Sales Executive to grow Philips Smart Lighting sales through site visits, architect interactions, and on-field business development. The role requires strong product understanding, site hunting, and the ability to convert opportunities into confirmed sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit residential, commercial, and industrial sites to identify lighting requirements
- Actively hunt new sites and projects (under construction, renovation, new developments)
- Meet and build strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, and electricians
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable Philips Smart Lighting solutions
- Conduct on-field sales activities, including demos, discussions, and follow-ups
- Prepare quotations and coordinate with the store/team for order execution
- Push sales of smart lighting products and ensure monthly/quarterly sales targets are achieved
- Follow up on leads until closure and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Stay updated with Philips product range, smart lighting technology, and new launches
- Collect market feedback, competitor insights, and pricing trends
- Ensure proper coordination between site, store, and installation teams
- Maintain basic sales reports and customer visit records
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Good understanding of lighting products (LEDs, ceiling lighting preferred)
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, convincing manner
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confidence to work independently on the field
- Target-oriented mindset with hunger to close deals
- Basic knowledge of measurements, layouts, and lighting applications is an advantage
- Eligibility & Experience
- 1–3 years experience in lighting, electricals, building materials, or project sales (preferred)
