The Architectural Draughtsman is responsible for preparing accurate architectural drawings, working drawings, and construction documentation based on the Architect's design intent. The role requires proficiency in CAD/BIM software, attention to detail, and coordination with consultants to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings including:
- Floor Plans
- Elevations
- Sections
- Site Plans
- Detail Drawings
- GFC (Good for Construction) Drawings
- Convert conceptual sketches into detailed construction drawings.
- Prepare submission drawings as per local authority requirements.
- Revise drawings based on architect/client feedback.
- Coordinate drawings with Structural, MEP, Landscape, and Interior consultants.
- Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document control.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes and company drafting standards.
- Support quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation when required.
- Conduct site visits for measurements, as-built drawings, and design verification.
- Assist in preparing presentation drawings and 3D views when required.
- Deliver drawings within project timelines while maintaining quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Architecture / Civil Engineering / Architectural Draftsmanship.
- 2–5 years of experience in an architectural or design consultancy.
- Experience in residential, commercial, institutional, or industrial projects.
Technical Skills
- AutoCAD (Mandatory)

- Knowledge of BIM workflows is an advantage.
