**SAP APO Consultant (Advanced Planning & Optimization) – Job Description**
**Job Title:** SAP APO Consultant
**Experience:** 3–10+ Years (depending on role level)
**Location:** Flexible / Onsite / Remote
### Role Summary
SAP APO Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (SAP APO) solutions to optimize supply chain planning processes, including demand planning, supply network planning, production planning, and global available-to-promise.
### Key Responsibilities
* Gather and analyze business requirements related to supply chain planning.
* Configure and customize SAP APO modules based on business needs.
* Work on APO modules such as:
* Demand Planning (DP)
* Supply Network Planning (SNP)
* Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)
* Global Available-to-Promise (GATP)
* Integrate APO with SAP ERP and other SAP systems.
* Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
* Provide production support and resolve issues.
* Create functional specifications and documentation.
* Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams.
### Required Skills
* Strong experience in SAP APO implementation and support.
* Knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes.
* Experience with APO DP, SNP, PP/DS, and GATP.
* Understanding of CIF (Core Interface) integration.
* Knowledge of SAP ERP modules such as MM, PP, SD, and WM.
* Ability to perform configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
### Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
* SAP APO/SCM certification is a plus.
* Experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) is an advantage.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,737,252.24 per year
