Position Senior Tekla Modeler
About the Role
Visai Engineering Service India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Tekla Modeler with 5–8 years of experience in structural steel detailing and modeling. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Tekla Structures, excellent knowledge of structural steel fabrication, and the ability to independently handle projects from modeling through drawing issuance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.
- Interpret structural, architectural, and engineering drawings.
- Prepare fabrication (shop) drawings and erection drawings.
- Generate Material Take-Off (MTO), Bill of Materials (BOM), NC files, and reports.
- Model steel members, plates, bolts, welds, stairs, handrails, and miscellaneous steel.
- Coordinate with engineers, checkers, connection designers, fabricators, and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and client standards.
- Perform model quality checks and resolve clashes or detailing issues.
- Meet project schedules while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
- Support junior modellers by providing technical guidance and reviewing their work when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in structural steel detailing/modeling.
- Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures.
- Good understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection practices.
- Experience in preparing shop drawings, erection drawings, MTO, BOM, and NC files.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of AISC or other applicable international standards is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Salary Range - 40,000 - 60,000 Per Month
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
