Key Responsibilities
- Technical Analysis & Design:
- Analyse technical drawings, review project specifications, and determine complete electrical requirements for each project.
- Prepare detailed Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for HT & LT systems, lightinglayouts, and street lighting designs.
- Perform voltage drop calculations, load calculations, phase balancing, and conversion of single-phase loads to three-phase equivalent loads.
- Carry out lux-level calculations for internal/external lighting using AutoCAD and relevant tools.
- Review drawings (SLD, GA, schematics), BOQs, technical submittals, compliance statements, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with IS/IEC standards, project specifications, electrical safety norms, and statutory guidelines.Estimation, Tendering & BOQ Management:
- Prepare and submit price bid abstracts, BOQs, rate analyses, and required technical backup to the respective departments.
- Evaluate vendor quotations, technical data sheets, and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Verify BOQs, material consumption, quantity take-offs, and subcontractor measurements.Electrical System Expertise:
- Strong working knowledge in designing and handling:
- Distribution transformers, HT breakers, 11kV/33kV substations
- Double pole structures, bus ducts, cable sizing & routing
- LT/HT panels, capacitor banks, APFC panels, DG synchronization
- Cable trays, earthing systems, lightning protection systems
- Area illumination, industrial lighting, control panels
- HVAC electrical systems, UPS systems, and control wiringProject Coordination & Monitoring:
- Coordinate end-to-end project execution with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Prepare project execution schedules, manpower plans, and material requirement lists.
- Track daily/weekly progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure adherence to scope, quality, and timelines.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality and safety standards.
Procurement & Material Management:
- Prepare material requisitions and coordinate with the procurement team for timely sourcing.
- Monitor material delivery schedules and ensure inventory availability at sites.
- Support purchase indent creation using SAP S4HANA (ME51N).
- Maintain documentation for purchase orders, dispatch records, and payments.Testing, Commissioning & Documentation
- Coordinate FAT/SAT, cable testing, relay testing, insulation checks, and functional verification.
- Ensure proper commissioning of electrical systems—HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS, HVAC electrical controls, and automation systems.
- Prepare method statements, compliance reports, test reports, O&M manuals, and as- built drawings.
- Support project handover documentation and audit compliance.Issue Resolution & Technical Support
- Identify and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning.
- Provide guidance to site teams on engineering solutions, safety practices, and quality compliance.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, OEMs, and internal stakeholders for approvals, clarifications, and technical decisions.MIS, Reporting & Cost Control
- Submit daily MIS reports to the Head of Department with critical issue updates.
- Prepare consolidated progress reports, dashboards, delay analysis, and budget tracking documents.
- Ensure projects meet deadlines and stay within cost and budgetary limits.Continuous Improvement & Learning
- Stay updated with latest industry developments, electrical codes, and best practices.
- Improve process efficiency, reduce delays, and support continual enhancement of project execution standards.Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems and industrial electrical design
- AutoCAD, MS Excel, SAP (PR creation – ME51N)

Qualification & Experience
- B. E/ B. Tech in Electrical Engineering with experience of 7-11 years.
