Job Summary:
Experienced STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), and WTP (Water Treatment Plant) Operator responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining water and wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards. Skilled in water quality testing, chemical dosing, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and record keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor STP, ETP, WTP, and RO systems.
- Check and maintain pumps, blowers, motors, valves, filters, and dosing systems.
- Perform water quality testing including pH, TDS, chlorine, turbidity, COD, and BOD analysis.
- Monitor treatment processes and adjust chemical dosing as required.
- Maintain daily logbooks, operational records, and maintenance reports.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ensure treated water and effluent meet regulatory and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams during breakdowns and repairs.
- Follow safety procedures and pollution control regulations.
- Support plant commissioning, startup, and shutdown activities when required.
