Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance work as per maintenance schedule on a daily basis
- Provide necessary support to the processes of the Production and Projects departments on daily basis
- Ensure the smooth functioning of all electrical units and equipment at the plant for the safety of its occupants.
- Conduct scheduled checks, inspections, and detect any short circuits and electrical malfunctions.
- Repair, replace and refurbish damaged electrical units, sockets and other parts.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on the localcodes.
- Follow stipulated safety procedures and regulations of working.
- Investigate electrical maintenance complaints, determine nature and extent of problem, and recommend remedial measures.
- Attend to breakdowns as and when required
- Keep proper records/reports of all electrical repair and maintenance works and submit to the Assistant Manager Electrical.
- Maintain and improve electrical instruments, equipments, facilities, components, products and systems at the plant
- Place order for spare parts and maintain an inventory record of the same.
- Carry out meter reading of various equipments with respect to pressure, temperature et al on a daily basis
